SPYDERCO C170GBBKP KARAHAWK ALL BLACK G10 HANDLE VG10 STEEL FOLDING KNIFE.
The all-new Spyderco Karahawk folder knife is one of many new folders released by Spyderco this year. Originally released in 2013, but with satin blade, the Karahawk features the Emerson Wave opening feature, designed by Emerson Knives, which allows you to fully open the blade by catching the "hook" on a pocket as you draw the knife out. The favorable redesign now features a saber ground VG-10 stainless steel blade that has been coated in a non-reflective black finish. The Karahawk utilizes Spyderco's Back Lock mechanism--a locking system positioned on the back of the handle that uses a rocker arm that pivots in the center. This knife is part of Spyderco's Specialty Folder family which includes collaborations with some of the world's most reputable knifemakers and showcases dedicated personal defense tools coupled with numerous "outside-the-box" designs that adds scores of value. This model, the C170GBBKP, features a black textured G-10 handle, a black non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) finished hawkbill blade, TiCN-coated skeletonized stainless steel liners, Spyderco's trademark round hole opening feature and an ambidextrous pocket clip which allows for tip up carry only but is eligible for left or right hand carry options.
